4th of July
Independence Day Festival in Selah

At 4 PM Saturday July 4th 2015 there was an Independence Day Festival at King’s Row in Selah. There was a lot of free games, food and drinks donated by local businesses and organizations.
The Selah Chamber of Commerce held a Apple Pie Baking contest and then a Apple Pie Eating Contest. There was plenty of apple pie for everyone thanks to the people entered the Pie Baking Contest and thanks to Selah Insurance Services for donating even more apple pie.
King’s Row held a Watermelon Eating Contest.
There was a fun game or activity for the kids at almost every booth. Face painting was a hit.
River Ridge provided a dunk tank to Heartlinks Hospice & Palliative Care to raise funds. The Dunk Tank was the main attraction. Everyone was eager to dunk one another.
The Wenas Mammoth Mobile Educational Exhibit was on site.

This event was fun to enjoy and we hope that we get to see you again next year.
