Top Member Challenge

Hosted by Graham Family Farm
March 8 2025

GENERAL INFO
This event is in appreciation of the people who have been here for our website events. The first TMC event was January 19th, 2008 (Click to see photos!).

RULES
You must have been on a past 4×4 trip with us and are still in good standings with us to enter the Top Member Challenge.

To keep this event going for years to come, it is very important you do not invite anyone without checking with us first. In 2023 we had a long time member invite a problem person from the past that showed up and caused drama. That person was the cause of Eastern Washington Off Road dropping two clubs (Eastern Washington Adventures in 2019 & Eastern Washington Expeditions in 2023). That is why we don’t host clubs any longer. We want to have fun, not drama.

Vehicle must have recovery gear, offroad tires that can be aired down to at least 10 psi, and tow points. Recommended – Lift, 31×10.50 or bigger and at least one locker.

Only competing vehicles and people can help out others in the competition. Only competing drivers and copilots (Only 1 rider can be copilot per vehicle) can work on recovery of competing vehicles. No help from other riders, outsiders, visitors, or judges during the competition. If this happens, you give up your right to compete.

All guest vehicles need to be approved and cannot compete.

AWARDS
This event is for fun. The driver of the vehicle that wins gets a Eastern Washington Off Road T-shirt and bragging rights.

THE MAIN TRIP:
We will convoy to Colockum Road to air down near the Naneum State Forest. After airing down we will make our way up to the flat area in the open to start the competition. The TMC ends at the Halfway Station Marker or when the snow is to soft to go any father. The first vehicle that makes it to the Halfway Station Marker or the vehicle the farthest to the marker wins.

FEES:
The state requires a Discover Pass in every vehicle. This event is free to attend but there are a limited number of rig spots available. So it is on a first-sign up basis.

REQUIREMENTS: You must have a street licensed vehicle with some ground clearance. Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, and cold weather gear.
A Discover Pass is required.

MEETING LOCATION: Kittitas, WA (Address will be given during sign up.)

DATE: March 8 2025

TIME: The convoy leaves about 10 AM.

COMMS: CB #7 GMRS #7

FUEL: Please top off your fuel near Kittitas. Snow wheeling eats a lot of fuel.

FOOD: Bring a sack type lunch since we may not stop for lunch.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

If you want to compete please let me know by Feb 1 2025. Please do not just show up out of the blue. If you would like to attend please use the Contact Us page. Space is limited.

NOTE: By signing up you are expected to follow the rules of the land and Tread Lightly. The roads/Trails can get soft this time of year. Spinning your tires intentionally on wet surfaces causes damage and is illegal. These actions have caused closures.
