GENERAL INFO
Eastern Washington Off Road weekday Overland Trip in the Blue Mountains. This is free event but space is limited and it is on a first-sign up basis. Everyone must sign up in advance. All guest must be approved. Do not just show up.
(If you get upset easily over peoples opinions, this event may not be for you.)
This is three days on easier dirt roads with some sight seeing and two night overland camping. We are spending two night on the trail so you will need to bring a tent, food, and supplies. Bringing extra fuel is encouraged.
THE TRIP PLAN
Note: Everything is subject to change. Not every route has been taken by us and we may have to back track if a road is closed.
MONDAY
We will leave Selah around 10 AM and head to toward Pomeroy maybe picking up other rigs a long the way. We will convoy to Pomeroy, stop for fuel, and then have lunch at Pomeroy City Park before heading up into the Blue Mountains in the Umatilla National Forest.
From PomeroyWe will make way south to the Umatilla National Forest. We will take Peola Rd to Pataha Creek Rd, Head west on NF-150, Turn left toward NF-171, Continue onto NF-171, Continue onto NF-170, Slight left to stay on NF-170, Turn right onto NF-42/Ruchert Rd, and stop for a break at Clearwater Lookout.
After the break we will head south on NF-40/Pomeroy Grouse Flat Rd, continue straight onto NF-44 and stop to camp the night at Wickiup Campground.

TUESDAY
Tuesday morning we will make our way to Troy. We will take NF-43. On the way we will stop to see Wenatchee Guard Station. We will continue on NF-43, then take NF-4304, NF-050 which turns into Hansen Ridge Road, Cougar Creek Road, Grande Ronde Road to Troy.

At Troy, we will take a break and people can swim if they would like. Bring a swimsuit if you want to jump in.
After the Troy stop, we will head up Troy Road, Eden Lane, NF-041, NF-6212, NF-62, NF-6415 / Timothy Springs Road, and stop to camp the night at Timothy Springs Campground.

WEDNESDAY
Wednesday morning we will make our way to Dayton. We will take NF-6415 / Timothy Springs Road then north on Kendall Skyline Road with a stop at Table Rock Lookout. We will continue on Kendall Skyline Road, with stops at the Kendall Skyline Monument and Godman Campground. At the end of Kendall Skyline we will drop into Dayton for fuel.

Once in Dayton, we will top off the tanks to head home.
STOPS & SIGHTSEEING
Clearwater Lookout, Wickiup Campground, Wenatchee Guard Station, Swimming in Troy, Timothy Springs Road, Kendall Skyline Road, Table Rock Lookout, Kendall Skyline Monument, and Godman Springs.
REQUIREMENTS: You must have a working Street licensed 4 wheel drive to do this trip. Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, and cold weather gear. We are spending two nights on the trail so you will need to bring a tent, food, and supplies. Bring plenty of water and things you need to be safe from the weather.
NOTE: By signing up you are expected to follow the rules of the land and Tread Lightly. The roads/Trails can get soft when wet. Spinning your tires intentionally on wet surfaces causes damage and is illegal. These actions have caused closures.

FEES:
This a Free to attend event. You will need to bring your own rig, gear, and food. You will need money for fuel and campgrounds.
FUEL: Please have a full tank of fuel to start with. Have money for fuel stops. We will top off in Pomeroy and will not be able to get fuel until the end of the trip in Dayton. Bringing extra fuel is encouraged.
CAMPING: Bring what you would need to camp in the mountains. It could be very hot or cold in the day and cold at night. Have cash in small bills for camp fees.
FOOD: Bring enough food for three days and two nights.
