Whiskey Dick Wildlife Area Backroads 4×4 Trip

About 9:00 AM on Saturday November 16th 2024, we met up at the south end of the Yakima River Canyon. It was freezing cold. We convoyed with nine rigs (1 YJ, 1 XJ, 1 TJ, 2 JKUs, 1 Ranger, 1 Mazda, 1 4runner & Toyoda pickup.) to Kittitas where we picked up one Bronco.
The ten rigs convoy to Whiskey Dick Corrals and aired down. After aired down, we headed up Whiskey Dick Corral Road, Whiskey Dick Creek Road, and stopped for a quick break when we got to Cayuse Road.
After the break, we headed west up Cayuse Road, north on Jacknife Ridge Road, and then stopped for lunch on the Columbia River at Whiskey Dick Creek.
After lunch, we continued up Jacknife Ridge Road, west on Skoolumchuck Crossover Road, east on Box Canyon Road, west on Quilomene Ridge Road, and stopped at Quilomene Bay for a break.
After the break we back tracked Quilomene Ridge Road and ran it out to Beacon Road. It started snowing and getting dark on our way there, so we decided to drop down to Parke Creek Road to take it out. At the end of the Parke Creek Trail, we aired up and headed home. Nine rigs convoyed back to Selah and parted ways near I-82.
