On the afternoon of Friday May 9th, 2014 Eastern Washington Adventures members started pulling in to Smith Canyon near Juniper Dunes to set up camp for the 2014 Mother’s Day ORV Camp-out. The wind was blowing hard.
That evening the wind died down some and group headed out to the sand dunes for some wheeling fun.
The next morning, Saturday May 10th, 2014 more people showed up for the main run. The wind was very light.
Around 10 AM the group of Jeeps headed out to the big dune area with the kids driving a little buggy. At the big dunes a few more rigs joined the group. The group played for awhile and then headed over to the Juniper Wilderness gate for lunch.
After lunch the group headed to play in the dunes in the north. Colton’s YJ had a break and had to have a trail fix. Colton turn around and headed for camp with the buggy following.
In the evening the group meet back up at camp for a potluck. There was a lot of great food.
Sunday morning everyone packed up and head out.
This was a very fun event thanks to all who came out.
