Thanksgiving Snow Wheeling Trip
Hosted by Eastern Washington Expeditions
Requested by Space Cowboy
Report & photos by Clay Graham / CegPics.com
On Friday November 26 2021 we met up at Hank’s place in Tampico around 10 AM.
We aired down and head up the South Fork Ahtanum Creek Road. The road had mixed conditions of wet, snow, and ice. We drove to the end of the South Fork and onto the Sedge Ridge 4×4 Trail. Not far past the duel climb we had to turn around because a lot of trees fell across the trail. Turning around on the side of the hill was fun. Space Cowboy’s rig slid down over a stump and we had to pull it off sideways and then Dan slid sideways into another stump getting his JK stuck.
Once we had everyone turned around we headed back down running the Sedge Ridge 4×4 Trail to Red Saddle. At Red Saddle we stopped for lunch.
After lunch we continued on across Sedge Ridge heading toward Tampico. We saw two groups of Deer on the way.
