Wenas Wildlife Area Snow Wheeling Trip

About 10 AM on Wednesday January 1st 2025, we met up at Graham Family Farm. We convoyed with 4 rigs (1 YJ, 1 LJ, 1 XJ & 1 JKU) to the south end of Durr Road at the Wenas Wildlife Area and aired down. Don met us there in his XJ making it 5 rigs on the trail.
We headed up Durr Road, turned on Umtanum Ridge Road. Near the towers I got stuck a few times and so did Clifford. Jonny helped us out. We stopped on top of the ridge to regroup and to take a break.
After the break, we ran the Umtanum Ridge Road west and stopped at at the top of the next hill climb since the rigs had a tough time making it up. Once everyone was on top of the hill, I tried to keep running the ridge west but got stuck in a snow drift right off. Clifford pulled me out and we decided to run Bell Tel Road back down to Durr Road.
Once down on Durr Road, we ran Rosa Road then up Buffalo Ridge Road. At the end of the road we took a short break in the fog.
After the break, we backtrack out to Durr Road and ran it back to where we aired down earlier to air back up.
This was a fun snow wheeling trip thanks to all who came.
