Exploring Divide Ridge by ATV

On Saturday August 27th, 2005, three of us, Hank, Tiny, and myself went to Tree Phones at the Ahtanum to do some exploring on Divide Ridge over Rimrock on quads. We had two Arctic Cat 400s and a Kawasaki Bayou 250.
We stopped at Eagle Nest on Whites Ridge on the way up to Darland Mountain. We ran part of 4W615 behind Darland and then the other way up past Blue Lake onto FS1024. We then turned down 4W613 and ran it to Louie Way Gap. Then we dropped down 4W608. It dropped fast and we knew we use a lot of fuel climbing back up.
We turned around and headed back up 4W608. I caught a log on the way up a steep climb and had to winch down some to get back off of it. That was a little scary.
We back tracked 4W613 and made our way back toward Tree Phones stopping along the way for some views. At Darland Mountain the Kawasaki Bayou 250 ran out of gas and Hank coasted it all the way back to Tree Phones Campground.
