Eastern Washington Off Road & Overland
Big Pines Camping Trip

We decided to do a test run in the Shasta Camper after adding the coach battery. One night of camping in the Yakima River Canyon should be a good test.
On Tuesday February 15th 2022 we headed up the Yakima River Canyon with the F350/Shasta Camper and Doc’s XJ. It was a nice day so we did a little sightseeing along the way. We set up camp at Big Pines. It cost $15 for two vehicles.
The first thing we found that we didn’t pack was a lighter to light the stove to make dinner. Doc had to drive back home to get one.
Before dinner Odo add another USB plug in the Shasta Camper. We want to make sure there are enough for the whole family’s gadgets.
It was nice sleeping in the warm camper. The trains rolling by were a different thing to hear camping. I would wake up and then have to remember where I was.
Odo cooked us a great breakfast before we broke down camp.
Overall the Shasta Camper is ready for camping this coming weekend at Beverly Dunes for the Eastern Washington Off Road Winter Meet & Greet.
