Eastern Washington Adventures
Family Sledding 4×4 Run
Report and photos by Clay Graham / Eastern Washington Adventures
Every year Eastern Washington Adventures has at least one sledding run. Highland Quick Stop has sponsored all of them since the first EWA Sledding Run in December 2006.
This sledding run was on Sunday December 15th, 2013. The group met up at Highland Quick Stop in Cowiche around 10 AM. Highland Quick Stop provided free coffee and hot cocoa.
Due to the snow level being so high we did not have a big turnout. There was only 8 people and two rigs so the run went real smooth with no problems. The group drove up onto Cowiche Ridge in the Ahtanum State Forest as far as the Yukon XL with all season tires would go. The snow there was not to deep but enough to sled down the hill on.
After awhile sledding the group headed back to Cowiche. Highland Quick Stop provided the group with a free lunch.
This was a great time. A special thanks to Victor at Highland Quick Stop for sponsoring the event again.
