A Fun Find in the Yakima River Canyon

On Thursday February 21st, 2019 the weather was nice enough to get out and do something.
My son’s dog “Crunch” and I took the Jeep for a drive in the Yakima River Canyon.
I stopped off at Mile Post 8 Boat Launch to stretch my legs. I parked next to this paved trail I had never went down before. I thought I would check it out. I forgot Crunch’s leash at home, so I left him in the Jeep to take a quick look down the trail.
Down at the Yakima River I was checking out the icebergs when I spotted something green with shinny things on it. I snapped a photo and it started running off. I chase it up the trail toward the parking lot. At the parking lot Crunch stopped the green thing since I was chasing it. Since Crunch pinned it down, I tied the green thing up and brought it home.
