On Saturday September 4th 2021 we left the Eastern Washington Expeditions Club House in Selah at 10 AM with four Jeeps. We convoyed to Little Naches with one stop in between at the Wood Shed to meet up with Dwain in his GMC pickup. At NF19 and FS1901 we stopped and aired down.
We took FS1901 up, then FS1915 to Lily Pond. We drove up to the intersection of 4W676 and 4W617. We took a break there and watched many people in 4×4 rigs and side-by-sides heading up 4W676.
Next we headed back down to NF19 and then up to Lost Meadow where we stopped for lunch.
We then headed up FS1906. We made our way onto FS1902 and up to Raven Roost. At Raven Roost Mount Rainier was hiding. The Schneider Springs Fire was showing off.
We headed down FS1902 to Crow Creek and then turned up FS1920. We made our way up to Fife’s Ridge and found there realty wasn’t any good views without hiking and no place to park without blocking vehicles in. It was tight turning around with all the vehicles parked at the trailhead. We headed back down and aired up for home at Long Meadow.
This was a fun day on the backroads of Little Naches.
