On Sunday September 5th 2021 we left the Eastern Washington Expeditions Club House in Selah at 10 AM with five Jeeps. We convoyed through the Yakima River Canyon to Ellensburg and then ran Manastash Road west.
We aired down just past the private property up the gravel part of Manastash Road FS31. Then we head up and stopped at the Viewpoint.
We then headed on Quartz Mountain we had a view of the Schneider Springs Fire. As we were there a deer and her babies came walking up on us. Of course I didn’t have the camera ready.
We headed back down and took FS3120, FS3120-109, and dropped drown 4W311. We then ran FS3111 back to just past were we turned down 4W311 and turned down FS3111-115. As you inter the L.T. Murray FS3111-115 changed names to Walter Springs. We ran it all the way down to FS31.
We ran Manastash Road, Umtanum Road, and turned onto Durr Road. We ran Durr Road all the way across the Wenas Wildlife Area and came out on Sheep Company Road. We headed home from there.
