4W613 Work Party

On Saturday July 10th, 2010 we met up on Foundation Ridge for the second 4W613 work party on 2010. Here are the pictures of the work day.

Heading up Jackass road near the view point we found a tree down in the road.

We turned down 4W613 to block off a mud area.

Guido cut some down trees so we could use them to block the mud hole.
BlindPilot winched the logs into place with the help of the other volunteers.

The mud hole is now blocked off and the water flows beside the trail.

Moving down the trail we found there was a lot of snow.

This area here was very challenging. Some had to winch up. BlindPilot pulled my CJ5 through the bad area.

We came upon an area where the stream was blocked and water was running onto the trail.
We worked to get the water to flow the right way.

We moved on up to the Dome Peak Trail to pull the sign to take back and repaint.

Once the signs were loaded we moved on.
Here we regrouped.

At Strobach Mt. we stopped to put the signs back up that we pulled down to paint two weeks before.
The kids ran and played as we worked.
