Hosted by Eastern Washington Off Road

6:30 AM on Saturday, September 22nd, 2007, a few of us convoyed from Yakima to the gravel pit at Moses Lake ORV area to we meet up others for the Eastern Washington Off Road run. Most that came were from the All Wheelers Off Road Club. Camo22 was our Trail Boss for the first part of the day.
First off Camo22 showed us how deep the big mud puddle was as we headed out to the Yellow Zone. As soon as we entered the Yellow Zone, Hercules had a hose clamp problem on his dirt bike. Zip ties worked to fix it.
Camo22 showed us around awhile then he had to go home to get some sleep since he had worked Grave Yard. We headed back toward the tow rigs so Hercules could get some fuel. On the way we ran into Luna, Bobstar, Toyzuki and his friend in a Toyota.
After we got everything we needed at camp, we headed out to a different part of the yellow zone. On the way we had to play on the dunes we came across. It was kind of a maze to get out to the Pothole Reservoir.
After we got out to the Pothole Reservoir and ran the beach awhile, we stopped foe a break and a photo of the afternoon group.
On the way back to the dunes, Toyzuki almost went swimming with his rig. He could not get back up the hill. His friend tried to help and also got stuck where the only way to go was into the water. Fatboy used his TJ to pull both rigs up to safety.
Back at the dunes everyone had fun. Some were jumping dunes and getting a lot of air. Toyzuki got a lot of flight time in with his Samurai on this run.
At one point 99 didn’t make a climb on my quad and really did not want to back down. She got pulled up the hill on my quad by her Tweety Jeep I was driving.
Hercules had another problem with his dirt bike and had to be kind of towed in on a quad. They got it in by a shoestring.
We loaded up around dark to head back home. We had a great time. A special thank you to Camo22 for showing us around the Yellow Zone.
