On Sunday, November 27th, 2005, we headed up to Rimrock Area in the Naches Ranger District to go sledding and sightseeing.
We ran FS1201 up to the end stopping off looking at 4×4 trailheads. We let the kids go sledding near Long Lake until they got to cold. We then drove around Rimrock Lake Peninsula for fun.
Heading back to Yakima we stopped off at the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife Oak Creek Wildlife Area Elk Feeding Station to see the elk. There were only a few elk there at that time. The kids still thought it was cool!
This was a very fun day.
