Open for Business this Friday!
Selah Sweets – Candy & Souvenir / Selah Adventures – Selah Community & Tourism just moved into downtown. The signs are not up yet, but the shop will be opening on Friday April 10th at 10 AM.
The shop is located in the Bruce Sears State Farm building at 105B South 1st Street in Selah, Washington. Catty-corner from Sundance Car Wash.
Lisa, Clay and the Graham children of Selah Adventures have been part of the Selah Chamber of Commerce for sometime now. Selah Sweets became part of the business last December in an effort to bring more to Downtown Selah. The search for the right building took awhile so it was decided Selah Sweets was going to just become a vendor at Selah community type events until something opened up. About that time, Harvest Church decided to move closer to the Selah Civic Center and the Bruce Sears State Farm building space came available. At first it looked out of reach due to not having the funds put everything together. With a lot of help from others, the dream of Selah Sweets / Selah Adventures moving downtown really happened. From the Graham family, ” thank you to everyone that helped and gave support”.
Selah Sweets – Candy & Souvenir, offers fresh made candies like fudges, mints, Caramel, peanut brittle, cotton candy, and caramel popcorn. They also have Folgers coffee, Bon Appetit pastries, Oberto & Jack Link’s meat snacks and Pepsi products. The souvenirs have not come in yet, but they will be to promote Selah and Washington State.
Selah Community & Tourism
Selah Adventures – Selah Community & Tourism, offers FREE community event and tourist information in the shop and on the web. Drop off your community event info so we can pass it out and share it! The visitor center will be at the rear entrance of the building. This area is being designed at this time and should have a lot of free Selah information soon. Until that time, feel free to come on in and ask questions.
This shop also has information on Selah Cub Scout Pack 276. Come by and see what Cub Scouts is all about.
