NEW YEAR’S EVE WENAS WILDLIFE AREA 4X4 SNOW WHEELING TRIP

GENERAL INFO
Eastern Washington Expeditions is hosting a 4×4 Snow Wheeling trip in the Wenas Wildlife Area. This event is free but there are a limited number of rig spots available. So it is on a first-sign up basis after Club Members.

Potluck and campfire to follow the trip.

FEES:
This event is free but there are a limited number of rig spots available. So it is on a first-sign up basis after Club Members. You will need to bring your own rig, gear and lunch. A Discover Pass is required.

REQUIREMENTS: You must have a smaller street licensed 4 wheel drive with some ground clearance and offroad tires that can be aired down to 10 PSI or lower to do this trip. Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, and cold weather gear. Bring a sack type lunch since we may not stop very long at places along the way.

A Discover Pass is required.

NOTE: By signing up you are expected to follow the rules of the land and Tread Lightly. The roads/Trails can get soft this time of year. Spinning your tires intentionally on wet surfaces causes damage and is illegal. These actions have caused closures.

MEETING LOCATION: Graham Family Farm * 3250 Selah Loop Rd., Selah, Washington

DATE: Saturday December 31, 2022

TIME: Come around 9:30 AM.  The convoy leaves about 10 AM.

COMMS: CB #7

FUEL: Please have a full tank of fuel to start with.

CAMPING: Free weekend camping at Graham Family Farm. Just let us know in advance if you need a spot.

FOOD: Bring a sack lunch for the trail. There is a Saturday evening potluck dinner for who wants to join.

THE MAIN TRIP:
We will leave the Graham Family Farm on Saturday at 10 AM. We will convoy to the Wenas Wildlife Area. It will depend on the amount of snow there is on where we are going. We may have to backtrack. If there is no snow we will keep going to see the sites.

POTLUCK: After the trip we are having a potluck at Graham Family Farm in Selah. Please let us know what you can bring.

THE SCHEDULE:

Saturday
9:30 AM – Line up rigs for run
10 AM – Start the road trip
6 PM or sooner – Potluck Dinner at Graham Family Farm.
Evening Campfire in the Biergarten.
