GENERAL INFO
Graham Family Farm is hosting an Eastern Washington Off Road 4×4 trail trip with an Independence Day potluck dinner to follow in the Biergarten. There will be games and Wobbly Train rides. Free camping available.
DO NOT JUST SHOW UP
This is a free event but space is limited and it is on a first sign up basis. Everyone must sign up in advance. All guests must be approved.
(If you get upset easily over people’s opinions, this event may not be for you.)
THE 4X4 TRIP
We are doing a 4×4 trips through the Wenas, across Manastash Ridge, through Funny rocks, through Moon Rocks, and back out through Wenas. Be prepared for mud and snow. We will not be playing on the rocks.
MEETING LOCATION: Graham Family Farm
DATE: July 4th 2025
TIME: The convoy leaves about 10 AM. Be early.
REQUIREMENTS: You must have a Discover Pass. You must have a working Street licensed 4 wheel drive to do this trip. Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, and cold weather gear.
NOTE: By signing up you are expected to follow the rules of the land and Tread Lightly. The roads/trails can get soft. Spinning your tires intentionally causes damage and is illegal. These actions have caused closures.
FEES: This a Free to attend event. You will need a Discover Pass. You will need to bring your own rig, gear, and lunch.

FUEL: Please have a full tank of fuel to start with.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE 4X4 TRIP:
2021
SIGHTSEEING: The 4×4 trip will be going through the Wenas (DNR Area) and into the Forest Service and back through the Wenas. There are great views for Manastash Ridge. We will see Funny Rocks and Moon Rocks.
FOOD
Bring a sack lunch for lunch the trail. The potluck dinner around 6 PM. Graham Family Farm will be cooking up some hamburgers and hot dogs. Please bring something for the potluck like chips & dip, fruit, dessert, etc.

GENERAL INFO
The Graham Family’s Farm has been hosting motorized outdoor recreation events for 22 years come 2026 Memorial Day as Eastern Washington Off Road. Join us for the fun Friday May 22nd – Monday May, 25th 2026 (Memorial Day Weekend).
We will be doing potluck meals (Breakfast & Dinner) the weekend with off road trips on Saturday across Bethel Ridge through Oak Creek Wildlife Area, and Sunday through the Wenas Wildlife Area.
Note: There may be snow, mud, and tight trails. Roof top tents and trailers not recommended for the offroad trips. You can leave them at the farm.

SIGHTSEEING
> Saturday’s 4×4 trip will start in Forest Service on Bethel Ridge and most of the rest will be through the Oak Creek Wildlife Area.
> Sunday’s 4×4 trip will be going through the Wenas and Wenas Wildlife Areas. Hopefully we will be able to see the the valleys and the volcanic mountains.
BASE CAMP
CAMPING: Camping is free on the Graham Family Farm NW. Warming fires only allowed in the fire ring and wood burning stove in the Biergarten Area. Bring what you would need to camp with. We have room for tents up to a few motor homes. Let us know what you plan to camp in so we make sure we have the room saved for you. It could be very hot or cold in the day and cold at night.
FOOD: Bring enough food for the weekend. Pack a lunch for Saturday’s and Sunday’s trips. There will be some potlucks that you can join:
Friday; Evening Potluck Dinner.
Saturday; Morning Breakfast; Potluck Dinner.
Sunday; Morning Breakfast; Potluck Dinner.
Monday; Morning Breakfast.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT BASE CAMP:
Food & drinks (bring your own drinks) as we BS around the fire. Maybe some outdoor games.
THE SCHEDULE:

3 PM – Gate opens to any one wanting to camp. Dry camping is free. Warming wood fires are only allowed in the fire ring and wood burning stove in the Biergarten Area.
6:00 PM – Potluck Dinner - Saturday
9:00 AM – Potluck breakfast in the Biergarten.
9:30 AM – Line up rigs for run
10 AM – Start the road trip to Bethel Ridge and explore for the day.
6 PM or sooner – Potluck Dinner in the Biergarten.
Evening Campfire. - Sunday
9:00 AM – Potluck breakfast in the Biergarten.
9:30 AM – Line up rigs for run
10 AM – Start the road trip to the Wenas Wildlife Area and explore for the day.

Monday June 2 2025 – Wednesday June 4 2025
The Eastern Washington Off Road Douglas Creek/Naneum Overland Trip is full size 4×4 friendly. This trip runs from Vantage off I-90, up through Douglas Creek, through the Naneum Ridge State Forest, and back to I-90 in Kittitas. A few stops sightseeing stops along the way. We will be running a lot of pavement and some rough backroads with creek crossings with stops to see the views. High ground clearance vehicles recommended.
We will be covering a lot of ground stopping at places along the way. We will camp at Douglas Creek and then in the Naneum State Forest. Here are the plan stops:
- Frenchman Cooley
- Quincy Lakes
- Douglas Creek
- Naneum State Forest
This is free event but space is limited and it is on a first-sign up basis. Everyone must sign up in advance. All guest must be approved. Do not just show up.

This a Free to attend event. You will need to bring your own rig, gear, and food. You will need money for fuel and maybe cash for campsites fees. A Discover Pass is required at some stops.
REQUIREMENTS: You must have a working Street licensed 4 wheel drive to do this trip. (Some roads are rough and some places may have low hanging branches. Not recommend for tall heavy truck campers.) Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, and cold weather gear. Bring plenty of water and things you need to be safe from the sun. Bring a sack type lunch since we may not stop very long at places along the way. (A Discover Pass is required.)
NOTE: By signing up you are expected to follow the rules of the land and Tread Lightly. The roads/Trails can get soft this time of year. Spinning your tires intentionally on wet surfaces causes damage and is illegal. These actions have caused closures.

FUEL: Please have a full tank of fuel to start with. We will refuel in Wenatchee if needed.
FOOD: Bring enough food for the whole trip. We will only stop if we need fuel.
CAMPING: Bring what you would need to camp in the desert and the forest. It could be very hot in the day and cold at night.

This is the planned route but could change if we find other things to do along the way. Monday: Vantage to Frenchman Cooley, to Quincy Lakes, Douglas Creek to camp. Tuesday: Douglas Creek through Alstown, Rock Island Grade, Naneum Ridge State Forest. Wednesday: Naneum Ridge State Forest and out to I-90 in Kittitas.
