GENERAL INFO
The Eastern Washington Off Road group will up at the end of pavement of Juniper Dunes Road. We will work our way north and back around the ORV Area going up and down sand hill climbs. We will eating lunch on the trail during one of the breaks.

This is free event. Everyone must sign up that wants to join the group in advance. All guest must be approved. Do not just show up.
(If you get upset easily over peoples opinions, this event may not be for you.)

MEETING LOCATION: North end of Juniper Dunes Road.

DATE: Sunday April 13 2025

TIME: The convoy leaves about 11 AM at Juniper Dunes ORV Area meet up spot. Be early to air down.

FEES:
This a Free to attend event. You will need to bring your own rig, safety flag, fuel, gear, and food.

REQUIREMENTS: To do this trip you must have a high clearance 4×4 vehicle with off road tires that you can air down for traction. Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, and a dune safety flag. Bring a sack lunch, plenty of water and things you need to be safe from the weather.

– Leaving Selah to Juniper Dunes.
10:30 AM:
– Meeting at Juniper Dunes to unload and air down.
11:00 AM:
– Head out in the dunes. Bring a sack lunch.
5:00 PM or so:
– Head back to air up to head home.

The Graham Family is hosting a Easter potluck on Sunday April 20th 2025 on the farm.  This is free event open to everyone, but please let us know if you are coming and what dish you plan to bring. Pre-sign ups are required at lease a week in advance. Free camping on site.
(If you get upset easily over peoples opinions, this event may not be for you.)

CAMPING: Bring what you would need to camp in. On site camping is free and you are welcome to spend the whole weekend if you would like.

FOOD: The potluck dinner around 6 PM. The Graham Family will be cooking up something good. Please bring something for the potluck or snacks like chips & dip, fruit, dessert, etc. If you are camping bring as much food needed. You are welcome to use the Biergarten BBQ to cook.

GENERAL INFO
The Graham Family’s Farm has been hosting motorized outdoor recreation events for 21 years come 2025 Memorial Day as Eastern Washington Off Road. Join us for the fun Friday May 23rd – Monday May, 26 2025 (Memorial Day Weekend).

We will be doing potluck meals the weekend and off road trips on Saturday through Oak Creek Wildlife Area up Bethel Ridge and Wenas Recreation Area up Cleman Mountain on Sunday.

Note: There may be snow, mud, and tight trails. RTT and trailers not recommended for the offroad trips. You can leave them at the farm.

DO NOT JUST SHOW UP
This event is free to attend but there are a limited number of rig spots available. It is on a first-sign up basis. Everyone must sign up in advance. All guest must be approved.


THE 4X4 TRIPS

We are doing 4×4 trips on Saturday and Sunday. The trips will be through Oak Creek and Wenas Wildlife Areas. Be prepared for mud and snow.

REQUIREMENTS: You must have a Discover Pass. You must have a working Street licensed 4 wheel drive to do this trip. Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, and cold weather gear.

NOTE: By signing up you are expected to follow the rules of the land and Tread Lightly. The roads/trails can get soft. Spinning your tires intentionally causes damage and is illegal. These actions have caused closures.

FEES:
This a Free to attend event. You will need a Discover Pass. You will need to bring your own rig, gear, and food. You will need money for fuel between trips.

SIGHTSEEING
> Saturday’s 4×4 trip will be going through the Oak Creek Wildlife Area and into the Forest Service on Bethel Ridge.
> Sunday’s 4×4 trip will be going through the Wenas and Wenas Wildlife Areas. Hopefully we will be able to see the the valleys and the volcanic mountains.


BASE CAMP

CAMPING: Camping is free on the Graham Family Farm. Warming fires only allowed in the fire ring and wood burning stove in the Biergarten Area. Bring what you would need to camp with. We have room for tents up to a few motor homes. Let us know what you plan to camp in so we make sure we have the room saved for you. It could be very hot or cold in the day and cold at night.

FOOD: Bring enough food for the weekend. Pack a lunch for Saturday’s and Sunday’s trips. There will be some potlucks that you can join:

Sunday; Morning Breakfast; Potluck Dinner.

The Eastern Washington Off Road overland trip will work it’s way south from Randle through the Gifford Pinchot National Forest driving roads off the beaten path working our way down to the Bridge of the Gods and then taking the WABDR Section 1 back north to Packwood.

This a Free to attend event. A NW Forest Pass is required at some locations we plan to stop. Have cash for campsites in the cash we cannot find a free one.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TRIP: You must have a working Street licensed high ground clearance to do this trip no bigger than a truck/with small camper. Small Overland Trailers are welcome.
NOTE: Some roads are rough and some places may have low hanging branches. Not recommend for tall heavy truck campers.

Please have a full tank of fuel and have money to top off along the way, overland gear, food and supplies for at least two nights, cash for campsites, recovery gear, and cold weather gear.

A NW Forest Pass is required at some locations we plan to stop.

GENERAL INFO
Eastern Washington Off Road weekday Overland Trip in the Blue Mountains. This is three days on easier dirt roads with some sight seeing and two night overland camping. We are spending two night on the trail so you will need to bring a tent, food, and supplies. Bringing extra fuel is encouraged.

THE TRIP PLAN
Note: Everything is subject to change. Not every route has been taken by us and we may have to back track if a road is closed.

MONDAY

We will leave Selah around 10 AM and head to toward Pomeroy maybe picking up other rigs a long the way. We will convoy to Pomeroy, stop for fuel, and then have lunch at Pomeroy City Park before heading up into the Blue Mountains in the Umatilla National Forest.

From PomeroyWe will make way south to the Umatilla National Forest. We will take Peola Rd to Pataha Creek Rd, Head west on NF-150, Turn left toward NF-171, Continue onto NF-171, Continue onto NF-170, Slight left to stay on NF-170, Turn right onto NF-42/Ruchert Rd, and stop for a break at Clearwater Lookout.

After the break we will head south on NF-40/Pomeroy Grouse Flat Rd, continue straight onto NF-44 and stop to camp the night at Wickiup Campground.

TUESDAY

Tuesday morning we will make our way to Troy. We will take NF-43. On the way we will stop to see Wenatchee Guard Station. We will continue on NF-43, then take NF-4304, NF-050 which turns into Hansen Ridge Road, Cougar Creek Road, Grande Ronde Road to Troy.
(28.2 miles from Wickiup Campground to Troy)

At Troy, we will take a break and people can swim if they would like. Bring a swimsuit if you want to jump in.

After the Troy stop, we will head up Troy Road, Eden Lane, NF-041, NF-6212, NF-62, NF-6415 / Timothy Springs Road, and stop to camp the night at Timothy Springs Campground.

WEDNESDAY

Wednesday morning we will make our way to Dayton. We will take NF-6415 / Timothy Springs Road then north on Kendall Skyline Road with a stop at Table Rock Lookout. We will continue on Kendall Skyline Road, with stops at the Kendall Skyline Monument and Godman Campground. At the end of Kendall Skyline we will drop into Dayton for fuel.
(63.9 miles from Timothy Springs to gas in Dayton)

Once in Dayton, we will top off the tanks to head home.

STOPS & SIGHTSEEING
Clearwater Lookout, Wickiup Campground, Wenatchee Guard Station, Swimming in Troy, Timothy Springs Road, Kendall Skyline Road, Table Rock Lookout, Kendall Skyline Monument, and Godman Springs.

REQUIREMENTS: You must have a working Street licensed 4 wheel drive to do this trip. Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, and cold weather gear. We are spending two nights on the trail so you will need to bring a tent, food, and supplies. Bring plenty of water and things you need to be safe from the weather.

NOTE: By signing up you are expected to follow the rules of the land and Tread Lightly. The roads/Trails can get soft when wet. Spinning your tires intentionally on wet surfaces causes damage and is illegal. These actions have caused closures.
