On Friday September 17th, 2021, we set up the Eastern Washington Expeditions booth up at the Benton Franklin Fair Grounds for the Kennewick Giant Swap Meet that ran Saturday and Sunday. We did not sell food this year due to the Governor’s mandates.
It was a great time.

On Saturday September 11th 2021 we left the Eastern Washington Expeditions Club House in Selah at 10 AM with six Jeeps. We convoyed through the Yakima River Canyon and ran I-90 to Cle Elum. We stopped to top off our fuel at Warrior’s Quick Stop and then continued west on I-90. We took exit 62 onto FS54. We stopped near the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail and aired down.
We continued on FS54 over Stampede Pass and then turned on FS52. We had lunch under the High Steel Bridge.
After lunch we continued on FS52 then turned up FS7036, and then FS7037. At FS7038 we took a break on the top of the ridge and then headed down to Little Naches. We aired up on FS1913 and NF19.
On the way home through the Cliffdell area we saw helicopters working on the Schneider Springs Fire.

On Sunday September 12th 2021 we left Graham Family Farm in Selah at 10 AM with four Jeeps. We convoyed to Little Naches. On the way home through the Cliffdell area we saw helicopters working on the Schneider Springs Fire. We turned on the Naches Pass Trail at FS1913 and stopped to air down.
We headed west on the Naches Pass Trail crossing bridges and climbing hills over rocks and roots. We took a break at the mud hole near FS684. We then moved up the trail. There was another deep mud hole near the Naches Pass sign. We stopped for lunch at the Pacific Crest Trail and took a walk to the cabin and back. The Camp Robber birds came to see us as we were leaving.
We continued west on the Naches Pass Trail. We ran it all the way down to the end of the 4×4 part of the trail. We then took Pyramid Pass back to the east end of the trail and aired up at Bear Creek.
On the way home through the Cliffdell area we saw helicopters working on the Schneider Springs Fire.
