Patriot Night Under the Lights

On Thursday, July 4th 2019 we set up the Selah Sweets Food Truck up at the Kittitas Valley Event Center in Ellensburg for Patriot Night Under the Lights. We served bratwurst, beef franks, shaved ice, and cotton candy.

The event was a lot of fun. There was a concert by Tracy Lawrence, food vendors, a big firework show, and an after Party featuring Folsom Prism.

Tracy Lawrence Live on the Fourth of July!

The Kittitas Valley Event Center is bringing a new country concert event to town on the 4th of July this year. Patriot Night Under the Lights will be making its home in Ellensburg’s famous Rodeo Arena and is presenting Tracy Lawrence as the headliner! He’s sold THIRTEEN MILLION albums, has had TWENTY-TWO songs on the Billboard Top 10 charts and EIGHTEEN No. 1 songs. He’s also garnered numerous CMA and ACM awards and nominations, as well as a Grammy nomination. You can also listen in to him on 95.3 KXLE hosting his own nationally syndicated radio show, “Honky Tonkin’ With Tracy Lawrence”.
The Biggest Fireworks Show in Town!

The Arena grounds will open on Independence Day at 7:00PM. Food vendors and beer gardens will be available before Tracy Lawrence takes the stage at 8:30PM. It’s sure to be a great show for the whole family! Stick around after the concert for the biggest fireworks show in town. Then, if you’re 21 and over, you can head over to Behind the Chutes for the Patriot After Party.

ChillAxle Car Show

On Saturday morning, June 29th 2019 we set up the Selah Sweets Food Truck up at the Kittitas Valley Event Center in Ellensburg for 2019 ChillAxle. The event has so much to offer as for things to see. It was a big car show with many vehicles. There was a Cardboard Car show, a Pinewood Derby by Cub Scout Pack 489, vendors, and all day RC Car Races.

We had a lot of fun and hope to go back next year.

Yakima Downtown Summer Nights

On Thursday, June 27th 2019 we set up the Selah Sweets Food Truck up on Historical North Front Street in Downtown Yakima for the third of ten Downtown Summer Nights events in 2019.

This was a breezy warm night. Live music from Mariachi Imperio Real from Wenatchee, and Buzz Brump from Leavenworth on the Prestige Motors Stage!

In the beer garden, sponsored by Stan Fortier Insurance Services, were featured these local beverages: Single Hill Brewing Company, Hop Nation Brewing Company, Naches Heights Vineyard, Tieton Cider Works, and Swede Hill Distilling.

Since its successful debut in 2013, Yakima’s Downtown Summer Nights concert series has become an integral part of Yakima’s summer music scene. Each Thursday, come dance and enjoy a cup of your favorite craft beverage in the heart of downtown on Historic North Front Street. The event is FREE and open to all ages. This year’s 10-show series will run from June 13th through August 22nd*

Each week features two bands and a bustling beer garden pouring your Yakima Valley craft favorites and outfitted misting tents for those especially hot evenings. For the whole family, an activities area, food from Front Street restaurateurs and plenty of room to kick up your heels right in front of the main stage.

*There will be no Downtown Summer Nights on July 4th, 2019.
