This Saturday: Holiday Horse Drawn Wagon Rides in Yakima

Join us for the Holiday Horse Drawn Wagon Rides this Saturday from Noon – 3 pm. Selah Sweets will be there with Hot Chocolate and Hot Cider the next 3 Saturdays!

The wagon rides are FREE and sponsored by the Downtown Association of Yakima. They leave from Millennium Plaza.

Bring you camera and take free photos with the Selah Sweets Christmas Characters. Santa will give out candy canes while supplies last. This will happen at the Selah Sweets Food Truck parked near by the wagon rides.

On Wednesday December 5th, 2018 was the 3rd Annual “Christmas Night in Naches” held at the Historical Depot in Downtown Naches.

The event started at 5pm with free hot cocoa, cookies, warming fires, and free lighted horse drawn wagon rides through town and back. Santa and his crew did photos in the depot. There was a raffle for “Christmas Cash” and gift cards. Naches Valley PTSA
was selling hot dogs as a fund raiser for their other activities. Selah Sweets was there selling Christmas Candy and taking event photos. A little after 6.00 pm the “Yakima Christmas Trucks” rolled into town all lit up with Christmas lights.

This was a very fun family event thanks all the Naches Lions Club, Town of Naches, Mt. Cleman Garden Club, the Naches Depot Advisory Committee, and all of the other volunteers.

On Saturday, December 1st, 2018, The Mighty Tieton held their 13th annual Holiday Crafts and Christmas Bazaar from 10am – 5pm.

Over 70 curated vendors were on hand to offer the most unique handmade and vintage items in the region. There were local food and drinks.

Live music by Jayleigh Ann & The Lost Boys and then Gone Fiddling Again. Santa even showed up for to see everyone.

This was a very nice Christmas event.

On Friday evening, November 30th 2018, we brought the Selah Sweets Food Truck to Magic City Barber Shop for the Annual Selah Lighted Christmas Parade.

The parade started at 6:30 PM from the Selah Middle School. It headed south down First Street to the Selah Civic Center. There were a lot more entries than the last time we were able to attend the parade.

Thank you Magic City Barber Shop for having us at your business. Thank you to everyone who came by to show support for our business.
