On Saturday morning, June 29th 2019 we set up the Selah Sweets Food Truck up at the Kittitas Valley Event Center in Ellensburg for 2019 ChillAxle. The event has so much to offer as for things to see. It was a big car show with many vehicles. There was a Cardboard Car show, a Pinewood Derby by Cub Scout Pack 489, vendors, and all day RC Car Races.
We had a lot of fun and hope to go back next year.

FAMILY FUN AT KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT CENTER — JUNE 29, 2019.
CHILLAXLE FEATURES ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES!
In addition to the display of more than 100 collector cars showcased across the grounds the 2019 ChillAxle Car Show and RC Car Race will offer an abundance of activities and attractions for families and children of all ages at the Kittitas Valley Event Center on Saturday June 29, 2019.
Featuring an array of vintage, domestics, imports, and local car clubs, this show will offer a memorable experience with some impressive classic and modern muscle cars. The Grand Boulevard is our picturesque outside venue providing show-goers with a historical walk-through of automotive history with this display of unique and show stopping vehicles from all eras.
Cardboard Cars!! You heard right! We are excited to offer this exciting addition to our event! There is a CARDBOARD CAR contest for you to join in the fun! Create a car of your choosing ~ BIG or small ~ from cardboard, and bring it on down to show off your creation! This is going to be so much fun! Prizes will be awarded!
We are beyond excited to announce that ChillAxle will also be hosting the local Cub Scout Pack 489 to hold a Pinewood Derby Race! This will be located in Umtanum Hall! It is the perfect addition to our event! The Kittitas Valley Event Center is going to have cars, cars, cars, and more cars! Join us to celebrate cars!
With the help of our sponsor, Jerrol’s, our indoor Arena will be set up as a challenging race track where RC car enthusiasts can run several heats throughout the day to compete for bragging rights of the fastest RC in Kittitas County. Zooming, zigging, & zagging around the track at lightening speeds they are something to behold to be sure! If you haven’t seen these RC Cars in action then you must come on down and check them out! There will be many racing brackets and divisions. The cost to enter the races will be announced soon. On Friday night, racers will have an open track to practice, and again on Saturday morning.Find more info here. To signup, go here!
ChillAxle promises a fun summer day for everyone. Great music, good food, and fabulous cars of all kinds can be found around the grounds.
