Business After Hours at Selah Liquor & More Store

On the evening of Thursday November 20th, 2014 the Selah Chamber of Commerce had a Business After Hours get together. The event was hosted at and by Selah Liquor and More Store.

They had appetizers and a door prizes. There was product sampling from; Selah’s own Southard Winery, and Swede Hill Distilling from Yakima.

The Selah Chamber of Commerce had a 50/50 raffle.

Ladies Night Out

On Thursday November 20th, 2014 there was a Ladies Night Out at 316 S 1st Street in Selah, Washington. Most of the businesses in the complex had special things for the ladies. The event went from 4 PM to 8 PM.

They plan to do another Ladies Night Out in the Spring of 2015. We will post the date and information closer to the event here at SelahAdventures.com

Selah Cub Scout Pack 276
Pack Meeting: Citizenship “Veterans”

On Wednesday November 19th, 2014 Selah Cub Scout Pack 276 had their pack meeting at the Selah Civic Center. This month was about Citizenship and Veterans.

Selah Mayor John Gawlik, a Vietnam Veteran and Army Soldiers,  MAJ Borowski of the U.S. Army Air Ambulance Detachment, & CPT Zenteno of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal and his men from the Yakima Training Center came to talk to the Cub Scout about what is was to be a Veteran. They talked about the things they did in the military and let the Scout ask questions. The Scouts seem to get a lot out of the time they spent with the Veterans.

Thank you to all the Veterans for coming and talking with the Cub Scouts. Thank you for your service!
