Yakima Downtown Summer Nights

On Thursday, June 29th we set up the Selah Sweets vendor trailer up on Historical North Front Street in Yakima for the third of 10 Downtown Summer Nights events in 2017.

It was a very hot day. The evening cooled down nice. There were a lot of vendors to take care of the needs of the crowd.

Jayleigh Ann & The Lost Boys, along with The BGP played a lot of great music!

The free shows, presented by Stewart Subaru and Downtown Association of Yakima, run every Thursday through August from 5:30-9 p.m. on North Front Street between Yakima Avenue and Staff Sgt. Pendleton Way. Chinook Fest powers the music, Legends Casino Hotel sponsors the stage and Virginia Mason Memorial provides a cooling station (not that anybody needed one last night) complete with a misting tent.

Meantime, Regional Health hosts an interactive, safe and fun kids area, and MOD Pizza — with help from Arts on the Move — oversees all of the weekly activities. U.S. Cellular supplies the cellphone charging stations.
