The Plowing Bee & Horse Spectacular has a new location and is now FREE!!!!
This event will now be in Terrace Heights, behind KIMA-TV and next to the cemetery (2600 Business Lane – Valley Hills Funeral Home) due to flooding at Fullbright Park.
We will still have Jousting, Cavalry and Plowing demonstrations. Plus the food vendor is still coming and we will have tractor pulled people wagons. We are making the best of it so come on out and show your support! We will still have working horses from throughout the State during this event including Belgians, Percherons, Shires & More but since we cannot have the event at the Central Washington Agricultural Museum, we do not have those exhibits and demonstrations to feature.
Bring a chair as there is no seating.
Stay tuned for additional announcements as we hustle to make this now free event as successful as possible. Donations will be encouraged in place of admission. Pack up the family and come and check it out!
Belgians, Percherons, Shires & More! This will be the 1st Annual Plowing Bee and Horse Spectacular! Do you love to see working horses? Then this is the place to be! This is a unique event that you won’t find anywhere else.
Draft Horses of various kinds from thru out Washington will be demonstrating how plowing was done in times gone by (and still today) in association with the Washington Draft Horse and Mule Association. There will also be other Horse Demonstrations such as Cavalry Demos, Jousting Demos, Wheeled vehicle and pulling demos. The Central WA Agricultural Museum will have its doors wide open for this special event including tram rides.
