GENERAL INFO
The Eastern Washington Off Road Moses Lake Sand Dunes 4×4 trip is at the end of September every year just before the Yellow Zone gets closed. This trip has sand dune climbs, water crossings, and beach driving. This event is free and everyone is welcome.

This is a free event but space is limited and it is on a first sign up basis. Everyone must sign up in advance. All guests must be approved.

DATE: Sunday, September 28 2024

TIME: Meeting up at Moses Lake Sand Dunes to air down at 10AM.

MEETING LOCATION: We are meeting up in the Moses Lake Sand Dunes Gravel Pit at the south end of Potato Hill Road.  See map at the bottom of this post. Map to meet up.
(You can also convoy with us there from Graham Family Farm at 8 AM)

FEES:
This a Free to attend event. You will need to bring your own rig, gear, and food. No Pass Required.

REQUIREMENTS: All ORVs are welcome. Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, food, water, cold weather gear, and things you need to be safe from the sun.
NOTE: By signing up you are expected to follow the rules of the land. (Safety Flags required for vehicles in the dunes.)

South Pole, the track, Potholes Reservoir, Mud Flats, and Moses Lake.

The Eastern Washington Off Road 4×4 Snow Wheeling trip is in the Naneum Ridge State Forest. (A Discover Pass is required)

THE 4×4 TRIP
This will be a deep snow wheeling type of trip. Big offroad tires and lockers recommended.

DATE: Sunday, May 4 2025

TIME: 10 AM

MEETING LOCATION: Kittitas. Place to be given to those who signed up.

FEES:
A Discover Pass is required by the state. This a Free to attend event. You will need to bring your own rig, fuel, gear, and food.

REQUIREMENTS: A Discover Pass is required by the state. To do this trip you must have a working Street licensed high clearance vehicle with large off road tires that you can air down to at least to 5 psi for traction. Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, and cold weather gear. Bring a sack type lunch since we may not stop very long at places along the way. Be prepared for mud and snow. We will be driving on top of snow. Be prepared to get stuck. Know your recovery points and have recovery gear.

NOTE: By signing up you are expected to follow the rules of the land and Tread Lightly. The roads/Trails can get soft. Spinning your tires intentionally on wet surfaces causes damage and is illegal. These actions have caused closures.

The Eastern Washington Off Road Backroads trip is from Selah to the Manastash, and out through the Taneum. We will be running pavement and rough dirt roads with stops to see the views.

The Eastern Washington Off Road group will up at the end of pavement of Juniper Dunes Road. We will work our way north and back around the ORV Area going up and down sand hill climbs. We will eating lunch on the trail during one of the breaks.

DATE: Sunday April 13 2025

TIME: The convoy leaves about 11 AM at Juniper Dunes ORV Area meet up spot. Be early to air down.

FEES:
This a Free to attend event. You will need to bring your own rig, safety flag, fuel, gear, and food.

REQUIREMENTS: To do this trip you must have a high clearance 4×4 vehicle with off road tires that you can air down for traction. Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, and a dune safety flag. Bring a sack lunch, plenty of water and things you need to be safe from the weather.

Saturday
8:30 AM:
– Leaving Selah to Juniper Dunes.
10:30 AM:
– Meeting at Juniper Dunes to unload and air down.
11:00 AM:
– Head out in the dunes. Bring a sack lunch.
5:00 PM or so:
– Head back to air up to head home.

GENERAL INFO
The Graham Family is hosting a Easter potluck on Sunday April 20th 2025 on the farm.  This is free event open to everyone, but please let us know if you are coming and what dish you plan to bring. Pre-sign ups are required at lease a week in advance. Free camping on site.

CAMPING: Bring what you would need to camp in. On site camping is free and you are welcome to spend the whole weekend if you would like.

FOOD: The potluck dinner around 6 PM. The Graham Family will be cooking up something good. Please bring something for the potluck or snacks like chips & dip, fruit, dessert, etc. If you are camping bring as much food needed. You are welcome to use the Biergarten BBQ to cook.
