On Sunday November 2nd, 2008 we met up at the Ahtanum Sno-park.
We aired down and headed up the North Fork Ahtanum Road and onto the Blue Lake trail.
We stopped for a short break at Blue Lake.
Jeepscum showed up with a group of quads.
Next we headed on up toward Blue Slide Lookout to block off an illegal trail off 4W615.
We block the top off first.
Then we went back down to block the bottom of the illegal trail.
Next we headed down FS1020 to replace the Short & Dirty trail marker.
We headed on toward 4W613 to add some “No Vehicle” markers at the Lower Meadow.
We regrouped before heading down 4W613.
As we passed Strobach Springs we saw ( the sign was removed for maintenance )
Punisher going through the “Truck Cruncher”.
We found a new fun obstacle on 4W613.
Here we are at the 4W613 Lower Meadow.
The first “No Vehicle” marker we put off the Gray Rock Trail.
We added two “No Vehicle” markers along 4W613.
The next stop was at the Dome Peak Trail Head to put a 4W613 marker back up.
Moving on down the trail.
At the 4W613 Upper Meadow we had to fix two Green Dot Markers.
The first one we just stood back up. It will need to be cut off and reburied next spring.
The next marker was broke all the way off so we put it back in the ground.
We stopped at the Strobach Mountain Vista but could not see more than 100 foot off the mountain.
We headed out using the Strobach Mountain Trail and on down Cowiche Ridge to Cowiche Mill Road.
This was a fun run thanks to the people who came. I want to thank Waycrazy, BlindPilot, 4wheelingplus.com, PUO, Punisher, Crawl Dad, Guido and all the guest for the help.
