On Saturday, February 4th, 2017, we took a road trip to Cle Elum for business. We made it a family trip so the kids could see some friends in the Cle Elum Area while we were there.

On Saturday January 28th, 2017, Selah Cub Scout Pack 276 had their annual Pinewood Derby at the Selah United Methodist Church.

After the opening of the event, two Cub Scouts received some awards they earned. Then the Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby started.

Join the ranks of millions of Cub Scouts who have stood in the derby winner’s circle. Cub Scouts have been building their own cars and competing in Pinewood Derby® events since 1953! At the heart of this event’s success is the process itself – bonds are strengthened as the Cub Scout partners with a parent or adult mentor to design, carve, paint, weigh, refine, and race the car. In addition, Cub Scouts build confidence and take pride in their own growing skills and hard work. So enjoy the ride!

Good afternoon from Selah. It has been snowing here again. This driveway was cleaned Friday of snow and ice. Now there is two inches of slush. We are dreaming of summer.
