On February 5th, 2005, we headed out to the Slab ORV Area in Zillah to play for the day. On this run Nick drove his F-150, Hank (our camera man) rode Mandy’s KFX80 and I (Clay) drove my ¾ ton Suburban (The Trail Bus). Mandy took turns riding in the trucks. This was the 3rd time I wheeled at the Slab. This was a fun day.

Photos: Slab Quad Crash
Slab ORV Run & Quad Crash

The All Wheelers Off Road Club met up at the Slab ORV Area on Saturday November 20th, 2004 to have a day of 4 wheeling and quad riding. Not very long after everyone unloaded, the fun stopped. My brother Ron was on his quad climbing the biggest hill at the Slab. (The one the CJ rolled over on October’s Wud Wheelers wheelin trip.) Ron was riding his Yamaha Raptor 660 and almost made it to the top. The quad stalled and then started sliding back down the hill. He lost control and started rolling / flipping down the hill with the quad until he kick away from it. The quad has some damage and Ron has a broken finger. This Hill is now named, “Rollover Hill”.
We had a good time at The Slab until that happened. It took 4 hours at the hospital and then we went home. I have added some pics of the trip. We hope to go back to The Slab soon.
