In 2003 Ceg Ranch – Field of Dreams Arena continued hosting the Gromore Rodeo Association events. The Western Express Drill Team and Cascade Cowgirls took turns opening the rodeos.
We did some off site events and a lot of play days in the arena.
Thank you to all that helped that made Gromore Children’s Rodeo happen.
Our son Charlie was born on Veteran’s Day. Winter brought some mud and snow offroad fun.

By the summer of 2000 we had the Field of Dreams Rodeo Arena usable and hosted some play days. On Labor Day weekend of 2000 we had a big turn out at a play day we hosted and people thought we should do these events with the kids throughout the summers. We started the, “Gromore Rodeo Association”.
Monty Cook helped us add to the arena with the use of equipment and materials he got donated.
Rick Howard donated a lot of 2x6s that we used in the roping boxes and holding pens.
The spring of 2001 we held Queen Try-outs. In April we did a demonstration for our Children’s Rodeo at the Hunter Jumpers event at the fair grounds. This is where we met Alan Geho aka “Marshell”. Marshell started coming to our rodeos with his horse to work with the children.
Henry Tyson bought livestock for us to use for the rodeos since we mostly had the horses at that time.
In 2001 we held 9 rodeos, one official play day and a lot of days kids just came to ride horses.
Linda Gutierrez the owner of Especially Western got the high-point trophy buckles for us at cost. This really helped.
Thank you to all that helped that made Gromore Children’s Rodeo happen.
