On Tuesday August 6th, 2024, CWAFEC members met up at Timpke Machine & Welding to see Bill Allen use the J.J. McCabe Lathe to work on the Fairbanks-Morse 35E10 Engine Crank. Doc and I dropped off the bent parts of the Small People Wagon to Bill to work on.

People Wagon Axle Removal

Report & photos by Clay Graham / CegPics.com

Monday August 5 2024, Doc, Charlie, and I worked on removing the Central Washington Antique Farm Equipment Club Small People Wagon front axle for repairs. The axle tube is bent in a few different directions and the hitch tongue is bent too. We delivered the bent parts to Bill Allen on Tuesday August 6, 2024. Once we get the parts back, we will put them on and then lube the bearings.

We will still be working on the small people wagon tightening loose bolts and replacing some if needed. Charlie’s wife Hailey will be working on painting the Central Washington Antique Farm Equipment Club logo on each side of the wagon.
