This event date is pending snow. This event is for the kids and parents to have fun sledding. Graham Family Farm will be providing free Hot Cocoa for everyone while supplies last.
This is free event but space is limited and it is on a first-sign up basis. Everyone must sign up in advance. All guest must be approved. Do not just show up.

EASTERN WASHINGTON OFF ROAD
KIDS CAMPING TRIP

GENERAL INFO
This is a three day and two night camping trip for the kids to be out in nature, not stuck to devices. Friday evening we will meet in the DNR Wenas Area and stay until Sunday. RVs welcome. Potluck dinner on Saturday. We will find things for the kids to do that is outdoor related. Bring bicycles if you have them.
For a safe quiet environment for small children,
No motorcycles, SxSs, ATVs, RC Cars, Power-wheels, etc.
Leave those electronic games at home.

DATE: Meeting up on August 28 2026 & heading home on August 30 2026.
TIME: Noon on Friday, to when you can get there.

The state requires each street licensed vehicles to have a Discover Pass. This a Free to attend event. You will need to bring your own rig, camping gear, and food.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TRIP: Please have a full tank of fuel, overland gear, food and supplies, cash for campsites, and cold weather gear.
NOTE: By signing up you are expected to follow the rules of the land and Tread Lightly. The roads/Trails can get soft. Spinning your tires intentionally on wet surfaces causes damage and is illegal. These actions have caused closures.

FUEL: Please have a full tank of fuel to start with.
FOOD: Bring enough food for three days and two nights. Potluck dinner on Saturday. Please bring a dish.
CAMPING: We will find a spot off the major roads big enough for the group to camp in rigs and tents. Also a big enough area where the kids can ride bicycles.
WHAT TO EXPECT: A nice time camping in the mountains with kids. Stories around the campfire. Kids having a great time in the outdoors.
