2011 Slab ORV Area Clean Up

Around 10 AM Saturday March 26th 2011, Eastern Washington Off Road members met up at the Slab ORV area parking area to help the Dust Dodgers with the clean-up.

The area was a lot cleaner than years past. I believe only two loads went to the dump and we took a small load home to put in our dumpster. We would like to thank all the people that came out to help on this rainy day. Thank you Dust Dodgers for the hot dogs and for taking of the dump fee.

On March 24th, 2011 we carpooled from Selah, through Kittitas to the Iron Horse Brewery’s Micropub in Ellensburg for the Eastern Washington Off Road Thursday Night Get Together.

Foxracer and I went with the 509. It is very good.

After two brews we were ready for dinner.

For dinner we walked across the street to Morelli’s Cafe Italiano.

We left Morelli’s Cafe Italiano stuffed. The food and service was great. I highly recommend eating at Morelli’s Cafe Italiano if you are in the Ellensburg Area.

Airways Brewing Company

Report and photos by Clay GrahamOn March 12th, 2011 we took a trip to Kent Washington to see the Airways Brewing Company and to sample their brew. On this day they were having a party for their 1 year anniversary of being open. They gave us some free samples of their brew and all were good. The owners are very friendly people. We plan to go back the next time we are in the area. Here area a few pictures I took of our time there.
