2009 Spring Fling

On Sunday April 5th, 2009 the Eastern Washington Off Road annual Spring Fling.
The weather turned out to be great. Here are a few pictures of the fun.
The kids started out with the piñata.
Next was Doc’s Birthday Party.
Time for the big kids to play.
This was another great time thanks to all that came. Good food and good times!
PS: I would like to thank everyone for Doc. He really likes the gifts.

This year “2009” we had the Spring Fever Run at the Wenas Wildlife Area on March 14th.
We met up at the first parking area at the end of Sheep Company road.
Heading out.
The Rig Trail Boss was Havo and the Quad Trail Boss was Jeepscum.
The two groups took different routes from here.

Both groups ran together from there.

A few of us took a run at this hill and made it to the top.
We better stop playing and go. They are leaving us. lol
Jeepscum and Nevada were our only quad riders on this run.

27th ANNUAL 4 X 4 Offroad & High Performance Swapmeet

On Saturday March 7th, 2009 after the Slab Clean-up, I headed over to Kent.
It took me four to get over the pass from Yakima to Kent because of the wind and snow.
I got to Kent about 9 PM and it was snowing there too.
The next morning I head toward Puyallup for the Swapmeet.

I talk to them about coming over again for the Ahtanum ORV Trails clean up.
Here I wake up to it snowing again in Kent.
I left my brother’s home and headed a few miles over to my Mother’s house.
After a short visit with my Mother, I headed back over the pass in the snow.
It only took Two hours and 40 minutes to get home to Yakima.
The swapmeet was a lot of fun. It was great meeting new people and seeing the ones I know again.

Around 10 AM Saturday March 7th, 2009 Eastern Washington Off Road members met up at the Slab ORV area parking area to help the Dust Dodgers with the clean-up.
Many people and groups showed up this year to help. Here are the ones I know of and I hope I don’t leave anyone out: Dust Dodges, Eastern Washington Off Road, All Wheelers, some PNW4WDA members and some others that just heard about the clean up.
I want to thank everyone for coming out.
A special thanks goes to everyone that paid to dump the trash and tires.
I hope to see you all next year.

On Saturday February 21st, 2009 we meet up at the Slab ORV parking area around 11 AM.
Not only was our club there, there were many others from all over.
It was nice seeing people we have not seen in awhile and great meeting some others.
I am bad with names so will post up the ones I know and remember.
First we headed over to Flex Canyon.
