Photos: Slab Quad Crash
Slab ORV Run & Quad Crash

The All Wheelers Off Road Club met up at the Slab ORV Area on Saturday November 20th, 2004 to have a day of 4 wheeling and quad riding. Not very long after everyone unloaded, the fun stopped. My brother Ron was on his quad climbing the biggest hill at the Slab. (The one the CJ rolled over on October’s Wud Wheelers wheelin trip.) Ron was riding his Yamaha Raptor 660 and almost made it to the top. The quad stalled and then started sliding back down the hill. He lost control and started rolling / flipping down the hill with the quad until he kick away from it. The quad has some damage and Ron has a broken finger. This Hill is now named, “Rollover Hill”.
We had a good time at The Slab until that happened. It took 4 hours at the hospital and then we went home. I have added some pics of the trip. We hope to go back to The Slab soon.

WUD Wheelers Slab Run

On Saturday October 23rd, 2004 My son Hank and I met the Wud Wheelers Club at the Slab ORV area. This was an interesting trip. A few rigs got into places they had to be winched to safety and a CJ rolled over on we now call Rollover Hill.
