Ahtanum Camp Out & Blue Lake Swim

On July 23rd, 2004 we headed up to the Ahtanum and set up camp at Tree Phones for the weekend.
Saturday we went to over Darland Mountain to Blue Lake to go swimming.
It was a great weekend.

On July 16th, 2004 we headed up to the Ahtanum and set up camp at Tree Phones.
Saturday we hit the trails with the XJ and our new ATV.
We spent some time at Blue Lake. It is just peaceful there.

On July 11th, 2004 we headed up to the Ahtanum for a Sunday drive.
We spent some time at Blue Lake and Blue Slide Lookout. We got a flat on the way out.

July ORV Run at the Ahtanum

On the weekend of July 9th – 11th, 2004 the AWORC members camped at Ceg Ranch for the July ORV Run.
Saturday we drove up to Tree Phones to ride quads and wheel my XJ.
We headed up to Sign Post at hit the Sedge Ridge Crest Trail going toward Darland Mountain.
The top of Darland Mountain we took a break.
Coming back down the Mid Fork we stopped for the view at Eagle Nest.
After the view we headed back to Tree Phones for lunch. After lunch we hit the Diccant Trail and on over to the Break Down Trail. We stopped for a break before hitting the Mid Fork.
On the way back down to Tree Phones, Test Dummy’s quad died so we had to go get the pickup to take it back down.
We had a great time on the run.

On July 5th 2004, we took a trip up to explore the Rimrock area. We went up FS1302 by Windy Point, FS1000, and FS1201 stopping along the way to see the sites.
