The first place our family bought and built into a ranch in Yakima we called, “Ceg Ranch”. In September 1998, we started turning the pushed out apple orchard into ranch with an arena. The arena got named, “Field of Dream Arena” in hopes to help children learn how to rodeo. This photos were taken during the still ranch building stage.

VOLUNTEER FARM WORK CAMP OUT

Sunday, September 6 – Monday, September 7 2026 (Labor Day Weekend).
GENERAL INFO
Graham Family Farm NW is hosting a volunteer farm work party on Labor Day Weekend. Free meals to those who help. Camping and evening get togethers. This work party is to get the farm ready for the winter. The perimeter fences need to be finished by adding a hand full of post, some cattle panels, and wire finished be tightened up. The power to the barn needed a trench and buried. Fire wood splitting and stacking is needed. The wild Elm trees need to be cut down, and other farm stuff.
DO NOT JUST SHOW UP
This is a free event but space is limited and it is on a first sign up basis. Everyone must sign up in advance. All guests must be approved.
(If you get upset easily over people’s opinions, this event may not be for you.)
CAMPING: Camping is free on the Graham Family Farm. Warming fires can only propane due to a fire ban. Bring what you would need to camp with. We have room for tents up to a few motor homes. Let us know what you plan to camp in so we make sure we have the room saved for you. It could be very hot or cold in the day and cold at night.
FOOD: Meals will be provided for those who help.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT BASE CAMP:
Work party during the day. Food & drinks as we BS around the fire in the evening. Maybe some outdoor games.
