Christmas Tree Snow Wheeling Trip
Hosted by Eastern Washington Off Road / Graham Family Farm
Report & photos by Clay Graham / CegPics.com
Around 9:15 AM Saturday November 27 2021 we headed to Naches to meet up with the group. We dropped down to the Town of Naches and found Doc was not following. We turned around to go find him. He was broke down on top of the ridge. We did not hear him on the CB due to his short antenna. Doc lost his YJ’s rear driveline and broke his transfer case. He was able to drive it back to the Graham Family Farm. We piled into the other two rigs and headed back to Naches.
We met up with Dan & Don in Naches and then headed up to Little Naches. At Little Naches we ran the snow covered FS1906 to the end. We stopped to look for Christmas Trees and have lunch. The EWE Chuckwagon cooked Bratwurst and made hot cocoa. TJ40 cooked fries in his air fryer. It was a great lunch around the propane campfire. The boys found a nice Christmas Tree and loaded it up on the Alice Jeep. Most aired down during lunch.
Next we made our way up to Raven Roost for something to do. We did not stay long due to the view was short because of the clouds.
Down near Crow Creek we stopped to air up for home.
This was a lot of fun for most of us. I am sure Doc will have his YJ going in no time.
