Memorial Day Backroads Run
at the Wenas Wildlife Area

On Sunday, May 24th, 2020, Liberty State Overland Club members met up at Graham Family Farm and convoyed to the WDFW Hay Barn entrance of the Wenas Wildlife Area. We had one member meet us there.
We aired down and headed up Cleman Mountain. On the way up we head an XJ over heat. We took a break there to let it cool down.
Once the XJ was cooled down, we headed on up to the top of Cleman Mountain. We turn to the east and ran the ridge to the end of the Green Dot Road where we stopped for lunch.
After lunch, we ran the ridge all the way to FS1701 with a few stops a long the way. Once on FS1701 we ran it toward Bald Mountain and stopped for a break near Hog Ranch Road.
Next we ran Hog Ranch Road to the bottom and aired up at North Wenas Road. After airing up we convoyed back to Graham Family Farm for a potluck dinner.
This was a great day with family and friends.
