Downtown Summer Nights is back today in Yakima on Historical North Front Street for the last of ten events this summer.
Come watch Massy Ferguson, and the Dusty 45s perform tonight on the Legends Casino Hotel Stage.
Along with many other vendors, Selah Sweets Shaved Ice will be back again with all the flavors. Don’t forget to bring your Selah Sweets Shaved Ice Loyalty Cards.

The free shows, presented by Stewart Subaru and Downtown Association of Yakima, run every Thursday through August from 5:30-9 p.m. on North Front Street between Yakima Avenue and Staff Sgt. Pendleton Way. Chinook Fest powers the music, Legends Casino Hotel sponsors the stage and Virginia Mason Memorial provides a cooling station (not that anybody needed one last night) complete with a misting tent.
Meantime, Regional Health hosts an interactive, safe and fun kids area, and MOD Pizza — with help from Arts on the Move — oversees all of the weekly activities. U.S. Cellular supplies the cellphone charging stations.
