Western Washington Brew Tour – Day 2 of 3

On the Saturday January 15th, 2011 we left my brother Ron’s place in Kent and headed to Seattle for day two of our Western Washington Brew Tour.
Our first stop was at Pyamid Alehouse across the street from Safeco Field.
We order some samplers and some lunch.
The food, beer and server were all great at Pyramid Alehouse! I would like to come back someday.
Next we went a few blocks away across from Quest Field to Elysian Fields.
This place was big.
We shared a sampler since we had more places to see. Elysian beer was very different from others.
Next we head toward Pike Brewing Company.
We had a hard time finding a parking spot because of the crowded streets.
We turned down toward the market to make our way out of the mess. We will try Pike Brewery Company another day.
We hit the highway and headed north.
We missed the turnoff for the next place and decide to just head over to Woodinville so the ladies could hit some wineries and we could check out Redhook.
The first stop in Woodinville was at Columbia Winery.
The ladies did some wine tasting and I walked around checking things out.
Across the road was Chateau Ste. Michelle. This place has beautiful grounds.

Finely back on track. Just down the road was Redhook Brewery.
A big tap room called “Forecasters Pub”.
I hear the food is good but since the place was packed, we just had the brew samplers.
Walking back out to the car.
Next we took the highway to Bellevue.
What The?
We found a place to park and head toward the brew.
The first stop was at Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery.
We ordered the samplers a long with some appetizers.
This place is huge.
The food, beer and service were great! I plan to come back again someday.
Escalator ride just for fun.
Back down to the Tap House.
160 beers on tap.
At the Tap House there are too many beers to choose from so we just ordered a beer sampler of their choice. Most of the beers were good.
We headed back to Kent and stopped at the Shindig Martini Bar.
The drinks were colorful.
Pretty cool bar.
The bar tender went out his way to make us drinks we might like since we never had martinis before. They were good.
The next stop was the Sidetrack Eatery & Pub.
The Sidetrack Eatery & Pub is an alright place to go.
Back at my brother Ron’s place we got to enjoy some of the beers we picked up along our Brew Tour.
