Central Washington Ag Museum “Tuesday Crew” –
1947 Oliver Cletrac work & more

Report & photos by Clay Graham / CegPics.com

On December 6th 2022 we met at the Central Washington Ag Museum for the Tuesday Volunteer Crew. There was snow on the ground and it was cold outside. The Ag Shop was nice and warm.

A new project is in the shop. It is a 1947 Oliver Cletrac crawler. The engine is not froze so there is a good chance this tractor will run again.

Volunteers & Members meet at the museum to work on whatever needs to be done. Volunteers are needed for everything imaginable. Every skill at any level can be utilized. Everyone is encouraged to attend & be a part of the “Tuesday Crew”. The volunteers & members meet 8 am-3 pm. Coffee break is at 10 am – join the “Tuesday Crew” for coffee & bring a “Brown Bag” lunch & join them for lunch.

Central Washington Ag Museum: Lindeman Building

Report & photos by Clay Graham / CegPics.com

On November 29th 2022 I drove over to the Lindeman Building to get some photos of what it looks like this time of year. This building is a must see when it is open during events.

Jesse Lindeman’s most famous and enduring venture was Lindeman Power Equipment Co. of Yakima, Washington, which operated between 1923 and 1947 and is noted for the influence it had on Deere & Co. and that company’s products.

From the Central Washington Agricultural Museum website.

Built in honor of the Lindeman family, this building contains many pictures and memorabilia about the Jesse Lindeman story and Ted Adams’ quest to preserve the legacy of Lindeman Power Equipment in addition to having a vintage gas station, it is also the home of the Lindeman Archives | Showing the ingenuity and vision of Jesse G. Lindeman and the Central Washington Antique Farm Equipment Club. The Lindeman Building exhibits are a must see when open during special events.
