The Winner of the Selah Sweets Easter Basket!
The Selah Downtown Association held their 2016 “Selah DisColory Contest” through the month of March. This was a free contest for children 12 years old and younger. There were 24 numbered cardboard “Easter Eggs” hidden in Selah businesses that children had to find, write down on the entry form, then turn in to a few different locations by March 26th.

Today Lily came into Selah Sweets with her sister for her Easter Basket full of goodies.

Yakima River Canyon Marathon
The 16th Annual Yakima River Canyon Marathon is the weekend of April 2nd, 2016. The race headquarters is at the Selah Civic Center in Downtown Selah with a dinner Friday night and awards on Saturday.
On Saturday, the Yakima River Canyon Marathon starts in Ellensburg and runs through the Yakima River Canyon and ends near Sundown M Ranch.
There are many volunteers from the Selah Community and Yakima Area that help make this event happen.

Road Closure Notice
WSDOT – SR 821 Both Directions – SR-821 Yakima River Canyon will be closed Saturday April 2 from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the Yakima River Canyon Marathon.
