Around 10 AM on Monday July 11th 2022 we met up and topped off our fuel tanks at Smitty’s Conoco in Ellensburg. On this expedition we had eight people and two dogs in 4 Jeeps. 1 XJ, 1 TJ, 1 JKU, & 1 JLU 4xE.
We convoyed from Ellensburg up Reecer Creek Road onto FS35 which is part of the WABDR. At FS3507 we stopped and aired down.
After airing down we took FS3507 and ran a few Liberty 4×4 trails. We stopped for lunch at Crystal Mountain Lookout.
We took 4W319 out and ran FS3507 back to where we aired down. Then we ran FS35 up and turn off to see the view from Lion Rock. We had a deer walk by as we were talking in the view. FYI: FS35 is part of WABDR Section 3.
After seeing the view at Lion Rock we headed back down away and set up camp. There were swarms of bugs.
Once camp was set up everyone cooked their dinner and ate around the campfire. Odo cooked us up some of Chicken Burritos on the Coleman Stove.
